Meet Sierra

Sierra is a nine year old girl with a vascular malformation that affects her legs and her ability to walk.  She needs to wear compression garments and uses a pump at night to stimulate blood flow.  Sierra lives with her caring Aunt and Uncle, but the family’s monthly income recently plunged when her Uncle retired and her Aunt had to leave work due to a medical problem.  The loving caregivers incurred an unusually high electric bill due to Sierra’s pump.  ASRL was privileged to catch the family up on its utility bills and negotiate with the electric company to extend their low income pricing program to Sierra’s family.
