Meet Darius

Darius is a young boy struggling with retinoblastoma, a cancer of the eye.  Incredibly, at the age of two, he has already endured three surgeries and the consequences of blindness in one of his eyes.   His illness has shaken his family to its core. Darius’s father left his job to care for him and be by his side. His mother has a job, but with the cost of gas and from the hospital and medical expenses, the bills have stacked up beyond her ability to pay.  ASRL paid the family’s overdue mortgage and provided gas cards to soften this family’s crisis as they pray that Darius’s medical treatments will finally be successful.
