Meet Alexa

Alexa was an adorable and cheerful one year old girl, until she was diagnosed with acute leukemia.  Since, Alexa has practically lived in the hospital, with her mother by her side.  Before Alexa’s diagnosis, her father worked two jobs to make ends meet.   But with Mom at the hospital almost daily, Dad has had to stop working so that he can care for Alexa’s two siblings, ages three and five.  With virtually no income, the family was drowning in overdue expenses when they turned to ASRL for help. Five months rent were provided to ease the family’s financial burden and insure that both Alexa and her siblings fully receive the love and attention they deserve.
