I am a social worker. When you find out that something is seriously wrong with your baby the stresses on a parent are very, very great. All you want is to be at your little one’s side.  But finances can make this impossible.  There is nowhere that I know except the Andre Sobel River of Life Foundation that within 24 hours a family of a seriously ill child can have groceries, their housing paid, transportation to the hospital, and small extras that make life bearable.   I have run out of ways to say “thank you” for the hundreds of families ASRL has helped during their child’s life-threatening illness.
